A Room, Two Easels, One Dream

Founders Maya Chen and Daniel Voss rented a 400 sq ft space in Brooklyn and held their first open-studio weekend. Twenty-three curious strangers showed up — and none of them left disappointed.

Today & Beyond

Why We Do
What We Do

" Art is not a luxury — it is the language through which humans connect, heal, and transcend. We exist to make that language accessible to everyone.
— Maya Chen, Co-founder

We believe every human being is inherently creative. Our role is simply to remove the barriers — fear of imperfection, lack of technique, absence of community — that stand between people and their creative expression.

Creative Freedom

We encourage experimentation over perfection. Every mark matters — even the ones that don't go to plan.

Continuous Growth

Learning never stops. Our curriculum evolves constantly to reflect both timeless technique and contemporary expression.

Inclusive Community

Art has no age, background, or skill requirement. Every person who walks through our doors is welcome.

Excellence & Craft

We hold our work to the highest standard — from brushstroke quality to the student experience and everything in between.
